Film Ruler (No. 1) is an earlier work from the titular series. The ruler takes metric millimeters as its units: a 16mm film frame is 7.49mm tall, so each unit of the ruler is 7.49mm long. 

菲林拉尺（No.1）是菲林拉尺系列內比較早期的作品。拉尺使用公制毫米作為單位：一幀16米釐底片高7.49毫米，所以拉尺每格長7.49毫米。

Film Ruler I: Ceiling is an extension from Ceiling HeightMeasuring Space. Instead of the horizontal perimeter of the exhibition venue, the ruler is used to measure the height of the space. The seamless film ruler demarcates the ceiling and the floor.

《菲林拉尺 Ⅰ：樓底》延伸自《樓底量度空間》。比起展覽場地水平的周界，拉尺被用於量度空間垂直的高度。無間斷的菲林拉尺為天花與地板劃定界線。

A defective 80-inch TV had been left inside Soft & Sour. Shortly after an attempt to repair the TV, it broke down again and sat idle in the space. After being measured by the film ruler, this piece of electronic waste transformed into a necessary part of the exhibition by cohesion of the measuring unit. Broken TV at Soft & Sour thus extends its existence in the venue.

一部八十寸的壞電視被遺留在酸軟，修理過後不久又再發生故障，電視也就一直閒置在空間內。經菲林拉尺量度後，這件電子垃圾因其量度單位的應用而變成了展覽場地必需存在的部分。《酸軟壞掉了的電視》又續存於這個空間。
